Child-Focused Therapy is the Emotional Support of Children. Young Children aged 3 to 12 years old mostly express their Thoughts, Feelings, and Behaviour through Play as Talk Therapy may be too over-whelming for them. Play is especially crucial and the language medium for younger Children aged 3 to 6 years old, whom are in the Early Childhood stage.

Child-Focused Therapy may include Systemic Therapy using Play Techniques, Sandplay Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy using Symbol Work, or any other Children Therapies.

When To Seek Help

Child-Focused Therapy provides essential Emotional Support for Children who are struggling to cope with Challenging Life Events such as Trauma, Grief, Death, Divorce, Changes in their Family Dynamics, Have a Negative Self-Image. e.g. being a Victim of Bullying, Lack of Self-Confidence, or other matters impacting the Child's Developmental Functioning in Home, School, or in their Lives. Child-Focused Therapy creates a Safe and Nurturing environment where Children can express their Emotions and work through their Feelings in a way that resonates with their Developmental Age.
