Hi! I am Jenny and a Systemic Marital and Family Therapist, a Sandplay Expressive Arts Therapist, and a Clinical Supervisor. I am also the Director and Founder of Psyche's story. In addition, I am also a Clinical Member and Registered Counsellor (C0540) with Singapore Association for Counselling and a Registered Social Service Practitioner (RSSP-0157) with Singapore Association of Social Workers.
I have been a Counsellor for more than a decade supporting Couples, Families, Individuals including Adults, Adolescents, and Children through their Couple, Family and Individual Life Stage challenges. My experience spans from working in a Marital, Divorce, and Family Counselling Centre, Family Service Centres, and Rehabilitative Youth Work and Family Centre.
I am a friendly and empathic Counsellor, and I believe in creating a Safe and Non-judgmental space where my clients will feel Heard and Understood. My forte lies in and I am especially passionate towards Couple Therapy. Whether a Couple gravitates towards staying, leaving, or being unsure of their relationship status, there is often emotional clarity and insight gained after Couple Therapy.
My main counselling approach is rooted in Systemic and Emotionally Focused Therapy, and I integrate these two approaches with Sandplay Expressive Arts Therapies and Other Therapeutic Modalities to facilitate healing, self-awareness, and personal growth for my clients.
